In 2017, Canada will be celebrating its 150th anniversary as a Country. In honour of this milestone for Canada, they are offering Parks Canada Discovery Passes for Free. Yes you read that right, Free. That means free and unlimited entry to all National Parks, National Marine Conservation Areas and National Historic Sites across the country.
As a relatively new country, in relation to most, Canada lacks the architectural and historical beauty of much of the rest of the world, but that doesn't mean that Canada has little to offer visitors. As an often overlooked travel destination, what Canada lacks in man-made beauty, it makes up for in natural wonder. As the second largest country, Canada is rich in natural beauty just waiting to be discovered.
Whether you are a native Canadian or a traveller from abroad, Canada's countless and breathtaking parks are worth a visit. With Free Parks Canada Discovery Passes being offered this year, why not make 2017 the year you visit one or more of these amazing parks?
You might just discover a Canada you never knew existed.
